Just curious - how are we influenced by places we travel to or people we meet?

This thread has nothing really to do with caravans or maybe? My wife and I were fortunate to travel to Scotland a few years ago - since then she thoroughly enjoys a small Whisky before the evening meal - couldn't stand it before........
At the moment she is in Greece on the island of Kythera with a few people - she had a shot of Ouzo and enjoyed it. Looks like when she returns I will have to provide her with a whisky then an ouzo then the evening meal!
In my case wrt people, meeting Chartrock and his wife at Cameron corner nearly two years ago got me seriously thinking about retiring and, blow me down, I am!
As to DRW and his wife - looking forward to catching up again in the Flinders later this year - more Whisky??
This forum is just fantastic - a group of varied people - different ages, different jobs, but all with a love of getting out there and seeing Australia and helping each other where we can......

I don't know I met @chartrock and he just convinced me to buy a tray back Ute, any mention of retirement just made us both grin..........................................he did convince me to carry more varied selection of small bolts though.

Ah see, there is the problem, have never had a SWMBO, the bride (for the last 43 yrs) has been SWWBP ( She Who Will Be Pampered) and thusly no fear is generated, she may have other versions but being military it was mostly suck it up, it must get better sometime..................and it bloody well has and all the pain has washed away as we sit and grin at each other in the surf..............................we are so damned happy it's sickening, brekky on the beach tomorrow, damn this is so cool.
