I was talking to the sales guy when I was picking up my van, he said the new independent suspension will be standard on all outbacks next year and that it will add $2000 to the price of the o/b package, he didn't seem to think it was a great idea not keeping it as an option, I'm pretty sure he said 2k which is not a lot cheaper than the simplicity.
