Just saw an ad on 7two for a ten day factory runout sale across all Jayco dealers. 10 days until 25 January.
If you are not yet an owner, it might be worth checking out. Wouldn't want to miss another holiday without one would you?!
FYI
Cheers
Andrew

Too right Andrew, we ordered our new 20.63 yesterday and got a better deal than we would have on a 2013 model. Super excited and April can't come soon enough! Steve in Townsville Jayco looked after us incredibly well and has thrown all sorts of extras into the deal.

We where down Page Bros today.. after 45 mins no one coming near us we left, seemed one poor bugger trying his best to serve everyone. Wanted to see what the new Starcraft bunk layout is for the new 17". Even though there are new vans sitting there like the Silverline and Journeyman nothing on the Jayco website.
If they do a good deal we still like the Work n Play although walked away too hard to wait around with so many kids.

Edit anyone have any idea on the above?
Either new layout for Starcraft or price for a Work n Play 17.51-2 with option of 4 bunks?

Then went down to Avan dealer said what deal can you do on a early last year van which been sitting there a while. They could not move much of RRP. :(
We have the money waiting if we can get a good deal we buy cash, seems no one after to deal.
Heading down to Geelong show on the weekend maybe one of the other brands might want our money. :)

@davemc, when we bought our new van, my wife just sat on the phone (from the Gold Coast) calling 3 dealers in NSW, 2 in Vic and 1 in SA to get the best deal. Our best deal was from Vic but with the cost to travel down and bring it back, it worked out Newcastle was best all round. Apart from 2 local dealers to sight the van, we never visited any of them.

Page Bros price for the 2014 17.51.2 w&p is $42,738 plus $4-5,000 more for the outback about $3000 more than
the 2013 model, not sure how much the 4 bunks would be.
The Starcraft is $36,369 plus extra $3 to $4.500 for the outback.
If I knew how to scan I would attach thhe Page Bros pricelist listing old and new RRP prices

Im 6'3" and weigh about 120kg and the wife and i fit on the bed in the Starcraft no probs
admittedley there would not be to much rigorous activity but we found it plenty big enough,
the length of the bunks is what worried me the kids will outgrow them pretty quick I think.

Have spoken with dealer and is the same layout but they don't have measurements yet but he thinks the
bed is bigger and maybe the bunks a bit longer. They will have one in stock end of Feb

Andrew, I took advantage of the sale last weekend and ordered a 21.64-1 OB. Saved around $5k off list price.

I really like this model..
http://www.newagecaravans.com.au/range/19ft-manta-ray-bunk-combo/
Looked at it a few times around $52-53k, we have to store as no way it fit in unless we moved a lot.. A new Work and Play with 4 bunks be around $45k so you think add another $5-6k
So we started looking at swans for $18k now up to $53k its too much.

Not to bad this 19" van about the size I am looking for...

But the starcraft 20" is around the same sort of dollars.

Could get myself banned although the finish in the New Age is a lot better then Jayco.
We stopped their first yesterday at the Geelong show had a good look around then we did not find that many other brands up to the same standard at the show. A lot around the same $'s.
Wife did not let me go back if they did under $50k for a deal I might of done it.

Although I really like to get in under $30k or around that hence we rather secondhand van.

You won't get banned lol....

And I agree with your comments that there are some better finished vans out there for relatively the same $$$.

My thoughts are two fold, one for resale and one for warranty work.

No other van can match Jayco's distribution network and if you are regularly far from home it can pay dividends to have a dealer close by.

It could be said if the quality was 100% then the warranty is not really needed but its the time it is needed that means the most if that makes sense.

The other bit with resale is I have found the non Jayco vans can take quite a bit longer to move and value can drop quite a bit compared to Jayco's just due to there name and reputation.

I have sold two van's now and on our third and of both the expandas we sold both generated a large amount of interest in the sale and where out of driveway on average with one to two weeks and all for not much less than retail thanks to Jayco upping the price each year and having the usual 3 + months wait for a new one.

At the same time friends selling an independent van although quite well known where struggling to get a look in even though they had dropped the price considerably.

My only gripe with Jayco at the moment personally is they don't really have anything between a 17 and 21" + van in full height size configuration for a family like the 19" you showed which is where they seem to be lacking.

The 21+ vans whilst great are just to big to fit onto some sites and it can even be just to big.

That 19" you have shown is exactly what we are looking for in size terms and we will be looking around over the next year as well.

So no banning need lol :)!
