its been a while since I was in here. A long while. Almost two years long while.
We still have Swifty. And still get away every now and then. But I've been a bit norty. Got myself a swag for those trips when it's just me. Then we got a tent coz the girls are getting older. Then I talk Stephanie into a camping trip with the swag and leave the van home. She loved the swag. Very comfy and best night sleep we'd had in a very long time. Then we contemplated our navels coz we really weren't using Swifty as much as we could/should.
So, in the last couple of years we've been to Kurth Kiln with Swifty a couple of times. Carters Campground once, never to be repeated, ever. Mansfield once. Adelaide once.
Swifty, as always, performed florelessly. We have free camped except for Adelaide.
We also have a new tow vehicle. Kluger17. As the name suggest, a 2017 Kluger AWD. It tows Swifty effortlessly.
What else, no that'll do for now. I will try to be more active on here.

Welcome back Stan, it has been quite a while so I imagine the kids would be getting bigger. I haven't seen the girls since Sheepyard Flats back in 2012 (??) and you at Cameron Corner. Good to hear you are still camping with and without Swifty.

Welcome back Stan good to see you're still getting out and about one way or another don't be a stranger.

Holy crap! is it that long since Sheepyard Flats meet, where does that time go? It was so hard not to turn off the freeway when I saw that big green sign MANSFIELD as we zoomed past on Friday it was like it was calling us in, but alas we had to be somewhere else. :(

Yes, still driving trains. I officially retire 2nd September next year.
There are some good campgrounds out Mansfield way. Yes, Sheepyard is good. Frys is better. Skipworth Reserve is excellent and fully accessible with a van.
Carters Mill campground at Merrig is not worth the effort and the ground slops so bad. You can get a van in there but.....
Buttercup Rd has a few campgrounds. All accessible to vans. And all excellent.
Oh, yes, I really like the high country. And Swifty.
