Inverter

Hi all,

I have installed a Adventure Kings 2000W inverter so we can have a few minor creature comforts while away camping and it came with a remote switch and cable, well where I'd like to put the remote the cable isn't long enough. To me it looks like a standard telephone cable, just wondering if that is what it is and if I can buy myself a long telephone cable so I can place the cable where I want it?

If anyone knows and can pass on or tell me what I actually need it would be greatly appreciated.

The remote specs say it has a RJ12 connector so in theory a phone cable with RJ12 connectors should work okay, Jaycar or Bunnings stock them................ confirm it is a RJ12 ...... RJ12 has 6 pins .
