So I finally bit the bullet and bought a swing arm TV mount for the van (got sick of it sitting on the bench.
The mount arm came with 2 mounting brackets so I thought I'd mount the other one on the outside of the van so we can use it outside to watch movies, TV etc.

This is the bracket I have, it just has 2 mounting holes so i thought I'd screw it to the outside and use silicon around the holes as well to seal it.
Anyone done similar?
Any other suggestions?

Cheers,
Matty

I put one of these on the side of the Expanda900-05842am.jpg
I painted it gloss white and screwed it on. Covered the screws with a cover I made out of plastic and sealed it all up with white silicone.

Kids love watching TV outside at dinner time!

Good idea painting it white, may do that myself.
Makes it less obvious.

I want to set up an outdoor movie night for the kids (and adults too!!)

I was wondering how to get aerial outlet to the out side of van, near power point. I have just been running long cable out thru door to fold down table. ANOTHER mod to do, Thanks, Barney
