Hmmm..thinking that I should have ordered the van with the TV already installed. Can anyone advise on the best way to mount a TV bracket ? We have a 20.63.1 and would be looking to put it in the usual place (where Jayco would normally put the tv bracket) but I am nervous about the ability of the wall to cope. Does Jayco put bracing in the walls where they install the brackets when you order the van with the TV bracket ? Can anyone advise ? Thanks.

You could do it the way "Lara" did. Her way was very neat and mounted a pole to the bench top. Search in my jayco section for Lara's van, it may be back a few pages.
I would have thought Jayco would strengthen the wall in that area, others may know. The mount Jayco use is very good, I think RV express have them.

Jayco plate the wall for the tv bracket only if you order it. The wall is otherwise ply and foam, and your spot on in that it wont cope with anything heavier than a thong hanging from it.

One option is to cut a piece of board or ply that fits between the bench and the overhead, fixed to both; and mount the bracket to the board

The bracket @macca found on Laras thread is
