Hi guys,
Sorry for asking a stupid question, but i was measuring up the battery box to go and buy a battery for my expanda. I get the RED/Black wires, but where does the other brown coated wires go? It comes from the external wall, not the J35. The caravan came pre wired and I hoped to just drop in a battery and be off. Now I'm confused (not for the first time)
I was also looking at getting a RITAR AGM DEEPCYCLE BATTERY 12V 120AH. Any thoughts?

Thankyou in advance

Hi @RobRoy,
can you post a bigger picture of the battery box so it is easier to see?

First suspicion is that it goes to the connection on the roof for the solar panel.
But it could also go to where the solar controller would normally be mounted.
If so, then you can safely tuck it away until you get a roof top solar panel and controller.

The connection you want is from the battery to the battery connection (BATT+ and BATT-) on the LHS of the BMPRO J35.

I hope this helps

cheers
Mike

Thanks Mike, That makes me feel a bit better. I'm off to buy a battery now. Booked unpowered at Peaceful Bay near Denmark in the south west and at Coral Bay in the north west.

Another favourite of mine down that way is Cosy Corner - 1/2 way between Denmark and Albany on the coastal road. It is a free bie and there are 3 long drops. Camping area is in amongst the sand dunes.

On your way north, there is a $15 stop over just north of Green Heads. They shut down Billy Goat Bay when they opened Milligans island camp area. We used Billy Goats quite a few times, but havn't been to the new one yet.

Family members called in to Miligans last weekend and the kids had a wow of a time - sand boarding on the Sandhills. They hired one from the local shop in Greenhead.
Daughter was talking about sandboarding just last night. I am definitely going
