I don't have one, but one of the guys we stay near at Batemans Bay does. It produces something like 20 kg in a 24 hour period. They never buy ice.
It's not all roses though. The storage capacity of these what machines isn't huge, so you do have to emty the ice into your esky on a regular basis, or the machine stoops producing.
The group at Batemans bay share the machine between three it four families, so someone is always around to top up the water and empty the ice.
I'll be picking one up this year, after doing the sums. Two families buying a bag each per day for two weeks comes to around $140.....

Yep the cost of ice does add up :)!

I am looking at as I like ice in drinks and fridge in the van whilst it does cool things down it just doesn't have that chill factor that I like.

Plus I am sure MrsExpanda will be making cocktails so if its full I don't really care as I would just empty it in the morning into a small esky to use throughout the day and let it remake ice :)!

What brand are you looking at?

Be careful buying stuff from Grays, there is a buyers premium which is normally 15% and the freight is normally quite expensive also.
