Well I spent a $$ or 2 at the Perth 4 x 4 Show yesterday and one of the gadgets was a P2 Brake controller what an amazing machine hooked it up and took it for a test run now my wife wont bang her head on the Dash when we are going through a town.:frusty: I always thought one brake controller was the same as another and I would never have known there was such a device if it wasnt for this forum cheers. :hail: Also bought a new bigger inverter, will take some photos of the install when I get to it, and booked in with United Fuel injection to get a Unichip fitted & Dynoed thanks Brad for that link to the Patrol forum certainly set me straight on which was the better Chip to get

No prob CG.... I wish I had found the link earlier in my travels for a chip. The pathie particulate filter light comes on more regularly these days and I suspect the chip. Interesting thing though after reading the link is that I think I will look to install a snorkel to increase air intake as a first step to balance mine up.

Snorkle made a big differance on my patrol, also make sure that your mechanic uses the genuine Nissan air filter as they have a higher flow than some after market ones, you can also use a high flow K&N oiled filter, they increase air flow heaps, i just cant use on the new Patrol as they clog up the mass air flow meter but it was great on the old tug!! What was the chip that they mentioned on the Patrol forum?

Yeah the Snorkel is going on later this week before the Chip I have a had a K & N filter on for a while now and it's a UniChip they are the only ones that do more than adjust your Fuel pressure or Injector timing http://www.unichip.net.au
