Hi All,
Looking at going to buy a new 16.49-1B from Caravanland in Perth
Going to get the following extras.
Out door shower, hot water pump, privacy screens, larger fridge and the larger Heron Q air con.
They have quoted me $40k flat, just wondering what I should offer them?
Regards
Karl

Is there a second Jayco outlet you can use to get a comparative figure?
If you do have one, I would be telling them what price you have been quoted at the first place and see what the second outlet comes up with.
But at the same time, thank the first outlet for the quote and tell them you intend on getting a comparative quote and I bet they ask you to come back once you have the second quote and they will either match or beat it.

Hi Brad,
Unfortunately we only have 1 dealer in Perth. Thought I might get a bit of feed back to see what other people paid for the same model

Victoria will be cheaper, such as Bayswater and Page Bros. Some WA people drive over and have a holiday driving it back. I think WA prices are 2k higher due to transport costs. 40k does seem high, but I live in Vic.

Hi Karl,

Hope you have some luck. It always pays to haggle where you can or try and get some extras thrown in.
We just ordered ours and went back and forth from the dealer a few times before we agreed on price and extras.

All the best.

G'day Karl, some good advise above, also don't tell the dealers where your quote is from or they might be happy for you to drive to the other side of OZ. When I picked ours up Jayco threw in some stubby holders....bloody expensive stubby holders! Good luck mate.

Cheers.
