Nice. You look like one happy camper!
Are you staying at 'mount seaview retreat' or somewhere else?

very timely for me - we are looking for somewhere up the coast to spend the weekend. Do they allow dogs (old slow ones) and is there enough water to use the kayaks?

yes to all the above, there were campers in the camp ground on the weekend with 2 dogs, i think its just a case of carry your little bags around with you just in case. the water is fairly shallow in front of camp and the deep sections are only around 200m long in between rapids but there are some nice spots down stream you can drive to. powered sites are $30 a night non powered $15. you can ring to book a site on 02 65 877 188. there is a toilet block with hot showers as well - they are fairly old but always clean. i havent been there for 15 years and forgotten how relaxing it is up there. if the weather is fine i doubt you will be dissapointed, just take your winter woolies it is starting to cool off up in the mountains at the moment.
