Some great reading on the site so far so thanks to everyone who contributes.

We currently have a custom built off road hard top camper trailer but with a 3 year old and a 6 week old it is time to look at something a bit more suitable. Just starting to have a look around and preference is for a 16ft outback but still have some more research to do.

Exciting times head!

Welcome @Buch.. Lots of things to read here and nice helpful bunch of people.
A few people on here have/had porta cots setup in their vans.
Work out if you want the ensuite shower/toilet or not.
Then what you can afford or can tow :)
A few different models in 16's and 17's to look at

We had a porta cot in our bed end which opens on the side phil and teds was great but now built a cot on my bottom bunk still got the porta cot may sell it ?? Very compact its great
