I stumbled on this forum while researching how to wire our new Prado for towing. Had some problems with the wiring on the old Hyundai Santa Fe and decided I'd better make sure it gets done properly this time. I failed and will have to rewire it myself ... but that's a story for another thread.
We probably went through the same stages as everyone else - camped under canvas for years and finally bit the bullet and bought a 1998 Jayco Swan camper trailer. Five more vans later and currently we actually own two vans - a 2010 Expanda Pop Top with a shower, toilet and bunks that the whole family can use (kids, grandkids, etc.) and a 2009 Discovery Pop Top that we towed around Australia in 2010 and that we are reluctant to part with.
