Just a quick hello to everyone

Been lurking around the forum for some time and thought it's time to join up.
Got some great ideas from the various posts and hope to incorporate some of these into the new van.
Currently have a Jayco Swan Outback which probably will be used one last time over the Easter break and then it will be looking for a new home.

Friends of ours both have Expandas and we really liked them so we looked at a number of second hand ones out there but unfortunately none of them really caught our eye.

So off to the Perth Caravan we go to check out the new Expandas. Spent 3 days looking and crawling over nearly every Jayco there and finally bit the bullet on a new Ex......

No, not Expanda but a Starcraft 17.58-1 Outback (sorry couldn't help myself)

Anyway, now the wait begins

Yes the pics will be forthcoming once she's delivered.

The guys from Caravanland have given us a delivery date in August. I guess they have been busy with all the C&C shows around the country.
Apparently Jayco had sold 186 vans up to 3.30pm on Sunday afternoon. I think we finished our paperwork about 4pm so maybe a few more to add to the final total.

Our extras at this stage are -

• Rooftop air
• Full oven with microwave above fridge
• Extra power point on buffet near the doorway
• Extended drawbar
• Extra gas bottle and holder
• Spare relocated to back bumper (allow for future storage box on drawbar)
• Entertainment package (show special) which includes the stereo and indoor/outdoor speakers, tv antenna and TV

Exciting times.
