Hello we have a 2009 discovery 15.48. Went to page bros in Seaford today to look at the expanda. We ordered our van back in 2009. Shortly afterwards I took sick and we didn't use it much for the next 2 years. I'm looking at an expanda for the great smallish size with everything you could want inside. It may be a few years yet tho'.

Great user name. How did you come up with that?

Welcome, :welcome: Featherfinder, don't wait for your new van to post up pictures and some trip reports. We like all sorts of Jaycos. As Brad says, feel free to ask questions on any subject, lots of knowledgable people here happy to help.

Welcome Featherfinder,

It doesn't matter which van you have, a van allows you to get out and see lots of things.

Once a gain, welcome.

Welcome, Featherfinder, to the Expanda family. Hope your health is now letting you enjoy some time away in your Discovery. Dreaming and planning for an Expanda is a really good tonic. Keep an eye out for really good per-loved Expandas - Small cost saving, but often nicely optioned and modified, just run in, bugs sorted and importantly, no waiting!

Been a while since I've been here, another health issue done & dusted........we were lucky this year to be able to sell our discovery, we bought a 2010 jayco starcraft 16 ft instead of the expanda. We are about to head off this weekend for a trial run. It's a lot bigger than I'm comfortable with, but we'll see how we go. The pop top wasn't working for me, so we have gone for the full height van. We are very happy with the inside. Keeping our fingers crossed for no high winds this week end.

Don't stress. You'll soon get comfortable with bigger van. Just take it easy and enjoy.
