That's part of the reason I've put the second battery in the tub on mine.. They have crammed so much into such a small space that I'm sure something will rub somewhere.. I wonder what they will do at the recall because I'd be surprised if you could get any more length out of the cables... I couldn't!

Got my letter last week. Holden are awaiting the delivery of a clip to hold the troublesome electrical cord away from that pesky battery. Once they have taken delivery of aforementioned clip, they'll be in touch to book the Rock Truck in for what I'm sure will be a 2min job.
Still, I'm getting mileage out of the "hope we don't catch fire" gag when we leave the house...
