Gotta love the Father's Day things you get from school, my favourite a portrait my youngest did and 10 reasons why she's so happy I'm her dad. Another favourite is the Tap King (super dry) they bought me.......happy days :)

Gotta love Father's Day. The kids proudly brought in the Father's Day stall gifts this morning.
Soap
Peppermint shaving cream
A keyboard dusting brush
A stencilled wooden sign that says "Dad Rocks".
Then off to a nice buffet breakfast.

There is really something special about melbourne in Spring. Footy finals, ( Go Richmond you good thing!) the sun pokes it head out and the beers somehow tates better, particularly while laying back on my new recliner camping chair. Thanks Mrs Soaring!

:becky: Lucky to still have my Dad around (he's 95) so went and visited him and gave him a hug (plus some sugar-free lollies, a book on Kakoda and a DVD box set of Pacific.)
One of the grand (or great grand) kids had given him this decorated frame and poem. Guess which present won out?
Hope you all had a great day, Expanda Dads and Grandpas.

I guess there is merit to the saying ''Can't avoid growing old; but growing up is optional''.
Very nice poem. Pace.

Hope all the dads had a great day today. I did it a bit rough after a big night with a few mates a few beers and bourbons and crawled into bed at 3:30 am oops , still ate my breaky in bed just felt a little secondhand , up early and no sympathy from the boss walked the dog around the block with my eldest child to clear the cobwebs out. Came good but a bit tired now scored a 12v compressor too:).

Yeh Yeh, I know! It keeps the kids quiet and it's quite techy, it records straight to usb or SD card. All my presents "went straight to the caravan". All you guys have fancy stereo systems in you vans, imagine the looks in the caravan parks I will get spinning some tunes with my record player on the fold down table . :)
