Hand pump

My hand water pump does not work and was wondering if any one has a breakdown diagram . There is no suction and the base of the plunger has no seal, just want to know if the seal has fallen off and jammed at the bottom.

Been there done that. Shine torch down hole retrieve rubber thingy with coat hanger,refit,lube with vasoline.Try pumping should get feeling back and water through too. Well worked for me. Cheers Pace.

Spot on pace. Been there too. Just make sure it doesn't go on upside down!

Buy a breha pump and put the Jayco one in the wheely storage thing at the front of your house, that magically empties itself.

I've got the same problem. I pulled mine out and the rubber is in place. I always seem to have air in the system too. I go outside to the hot water system and seem to be able to bleed it all out then later the same things, air shooting out of my tap. Is there a common place where air could be leaking into my tank or system?

Maybe you might have to prime the hand pump. I know sometimes I do. Especially if I drain and refill the tank when going away.

got rid of the hand pump and fitted a pressure pump , so much easier ....
