well i finally managed to talk the wife into a new van and it was love at first sight all signed up just need to add my bits and it's good to go
So we got a 18.58-2 touring model we do a lot of van parks ,couldn't justify the extra of an outback and with the money I saved I can still put solar and other bit on.
Specs are pretty normal thetford fridge roof air std hitch has washing machine basic fusion with external speakers and a coast two gauge display had Boston dark floor and bubble seats
fitted a wireless security system water filter toilet roll holder(surprised not std) through wall kit opted not get get a Wynyard as have a sat setup went with a 300w solar system bed end covers daul batteries and few other bits and pieces I'm not allowed to mod it but improvements are mods are they still need to mount the jerrys somewhere even with the long range tanks in the patrol now ,anyway pics to follow as soon as I get it washed and home kids should love it and I have a dog box that I might not come out of

Oh yeah here's a couple still in the workshop so couldn't get any real good ones
I cut a few corners and didn't get an outback or wyngaurd
Have a few things to do when I get it home not planning a lot of remote stuff just yet so 300w of solar and dual batt in the fine will be fine have another two in the car and another 150 panel there to run the car fridge and dvd headrests
Trying to talk the handbrake into a couple of other things but will wait to see

Few more things do now bed end covers and the solar system has been ok'd by the boss and also a lift (can't tow it with my patrol even after the conversion as still to high ) still have to work on a few things to make it more enjoyable for us with the kids
Managed to get a dock for my iPad so I can play the movies without having to take the Apple TV

@rodney .... This is where we mounted the satking box. Maybe not factory finish but is hidden away and setup to just plug the lead into the outside antenna plug!!! Got a pack of 3 document trays and used one for the sat box and the other 2 in the lower shelves for remotes, magazines etc to go in! TV stays plugged in to normal TV aerial lead and the HDMI lead from the sat box.... Just need to select the relevant source on the TV and away you go!

I don't have that bench in mine being the 18 but I do have that little cupboard and could just put the eye on it
Looking at it I might fit the second Rv point as the sat Inlet then to the box and back out to the stars connection point
Need to hid as much as possible as got it on the down low without the commander and chief knowing

I got the approval for ours after we went away during the week and she missed Home and Away due to bad reception ;)
