Gwydir Highway

Hi all
We are spending a couple of weeks at Minnie Waters at Illaroo campground. Thinking of taking a different way back to Brisbane over a few days so plan is to head up the Gwydir and take a few days to get home.
Question is, has anyone towed up this road from the Grafton end? We have a Starcraft 17.58 OB and Triton auto.

Good road, even the climb is good. A bit bumpy but no probs at all. Often use if with our 17.56.2 OB.

Easy as trip, stayed at the amazing Mann River free camping west of Jackadgery. I'd thoroughly recommend it!

Was that the one on the main hwy or the one 2km off the hwy that is about 17 km west of the Mann River caravan park?

Probably at least 11 k's west of the caravan park. The name of the road was coonabad...something! Anyhow the road heads towards Hanging Rock, and about 2 k's along, def not on the highway.
