HELP!!!! Some nice young lads, or lassies, tagged the front and side of the Panda last night.

Any tips on removal?

So far I've tried Metho, Aerogard and Eucalyptus Oil and all they are doing is fading the ink, not removing it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Oh you poor things!

Only suggestion I can make is the marine grade fibreglass cleaner from BCF or Bunnings. It does remove bird crap which often has a berry stain in it but I've no idea if it handles paint. Aerosol I presume.

What rotten idiots to think anyone's pride and joy is fair game.

Where did it happen?

@D4Dazz If it's aerosol paint it will only be 1K so it "should" come off quite easily with some thinners. I would caution though that test it on an inconspicuous area first, as it may well react differently on fibreglass than steel panels. If it seems to be a bit aggressive but not reacting to the fibreglass then reduce the thinners by half with water and give it another go, again in an inconspicuous spot.
Take your time and use a microfibre cloth. Don't apply the thinners directly to the panel, place a small amount onto a corner of the microfibre and rub across the paint gently. It should start to slowly come off.

Again, test in an area not likely to be obvious first.

Good luck.

Thanks Matty, will give that a go.

I'll Jayco on Monday and see what they say, but I'm tipping a professional job.

You can try a product called Goof Off from the hardware.

Used it when my baby daughter tagged our entire brand new kitchen with permanent marker.

Took it off without damaging the finish
