Gold Coast Van Storage

We looking to store the Expanda for 5 nights in the Gold Coast area while we are at SeaWorld in December, has anyone used van storage in the area, or could recommend anywhere, I have seen a few places on the net, but I am not sure how secure the facilities are.

Hi Greg
Unfortunately I don't have any firsthand knowledge of van storage on the coast. Two you could look at are Coomera Boat and Caravan storage which is located just behind Dreamworld in the Coomera Marine Precinct. Their undercover storage looks pretty good. Then a bit further north is Mr Caravan Storage located on a property at Pimpama. It is a bit out of the way and has an onsite caretaker so might be worth a look too.

We live in the hinterland (Maudsland) and depending on dates would also have room where you could leave your van. It would not be under cover though, but another option to consider.

WE left our caravan there for a week a few years ago when our bushwalking group did Lamington np, we stayed a couple of days then left 2 caravans there for a week at no extra charge.lamington wanted $28 a night despite the fact we had rented there bunk house at $500 night.

Thanks Shane I appreciate the offer, I will have a look at the Commera storage place tonight, I remember a few years back a member on this site used to keep his van in storage, Im not sure where but it got trashed so I've been careful where Im looking at.
