GME TX3100 PNP

Hi guys,

ive bought a GE TX3100 plug n play for our trip. It comes with a little magnetic aerial, but i cant find anywhere where it tells me where the best place to put it is?

Any ideas?

If it is magnetic base and enough lead to reach put it in the middle of your roof!

hamish22 has it right. Middle of roof it is. Roof becomes an important part of the antenna set up (the ground plane) so when it's centered you get best 360 degree coverage.

Yep, as central as you can get. The alternative of course is to get yourself a "ground independent" aerial (whip type) and mount on your bar.
