Hi all, we've just sold our trusty Swan Outback camper in the aim to upgrade to an Expanda Outback. We're a family of 5 (2a, 3c) and so am chasing one with the double bunk that converts bottom to table & chair option.

We don't want the ensuite model as we prefer more interior space, and we'd ideally love a 17-56.1 with HWS and outside shower. We are a mix of caravan parks and then free camping (Warrah station, Ningaloo, Dwellingup, etc), and I know from experience that tandem trailers are much better towing, more stable setup, and we love having more storage.

HOWEVER - we are planning a big Gibb River Road trip in 2018 with family, and so now wondering if a 17-56.1 would be okay going down the GRR, or whether we should simplify it up and go with a 16 foot bunk model. We'd be getting an Outback model either way.

What's the collective thoughts? Twin axle Outback model okay? Or single axle better?

Thanks,
Nathan
