On your left off the Princess Hwy just over the bridge when you pass Genoa. We usually stay at Cann River but thought we would save ourselves the $20 and free camp at Genoa. This use to be the caravan park. Huge area off the highway, beside the river. Toilets with cold showers, heaps of area to set up camp. Recommend donation in box outside town hall, we drove back to Genoa to do this but couldn't find a box outside the hall and there was no shop in town to ask. Great place to stop if driving from Melbourne to NSW via Princess Hwy.

Showing my age here a little, but I remember going to Merimbula with my parents and going across that old one way bridge, which is now a walking track and driving up/down that old part of the Princes H'way..
There was a fish and chip shop in town, all be it not a very good one.... lol.... But I do remember the man doing the fish and chips being half sloshed and drinking red wine... Lol... Aahhh the good ole days...
