looking at fitting a gas bayonet to the van up front just want to know what size the pipe is 3/8 or 5/16
sorry for the dumb question as I'm away for work and want to grab the bits needed to do it for the weekend

@23chris Ours is 3/8" at the front where I tee'd off from and also used 3/8" to the valve and bayonet. If it's a short run you can use a 3/8" x 3/8" x 5/16" reducing tee and run 5/16" pipe and fittings if you want.

Agree with Dagree - it starts as 3/8" as the main line and branches off to the various appliances as 5/16". I added the rear gas bayonet line by disconnecting an existing T so avoiding having to cut the original pipe. Could easily be returned to factory standard if needed.
