Yep I've used a rubber door stopper for ages, about .80c and they go up over the outside too so when you put your hand on out to twist the plug in or out it stays clean.I think it was @Stone Stomper who used a rubber door stopper on his I think they cost only a few $$$

I was about to order the eBay cap and was in bunnings today to pick up a sausage in bread / sorry / few odds and ends and remembered the door stop suggestion. $1.20 for a stubbybbrown door stop. Fits perfectly! ($2.50 for the sausage!).Door stop is the go
