G&T

So from previous postings, it's clear there are some Gin fans on board. I'm relatively new to the G&T scene, and have tried Beefeaters, Gordon's, and just cracked a Bombay Sapphire.
To be honest, I like them all. i've spent a lot if time in Thailand for work and nothing is more refreshing than an ice cold G&T with lime in the hot weather.
So what are the recommendations for a good gin?
Just for laughs, the bottle of Sapphire I just opened came in a cool light up box. If I can work out how to post images straight from the IPad I'll put some up.

Welcome to the Club, Soaring.
Wifes spirit of choice for nearly 50 years. I came to it a bit later while in India and dining at Gymkhanas (relics of the Raj) where it certainly was safer than the water. Like with fresh lime or good dash of Bitters.
Anything duty-free always tastes good.
A couple of years back, Mrs XF and I picked up gin for Gordon's for $7 at Miri Airport in Sarawak. Last duty-free was 2x 1litre Saphire's (Mrs likes blue bottle)
Worst Gin I had was home distilled by a friends mum in New Zealand. She was quite proud of it! One taste and I made a face a Maori warrior would have been proud of. Lost my voice before I could critique it.
NZ does make a really nice one too, South Premium. Even nicer bottle, great taste.
As mentioned earlier Lark's Pepperberry, was something different and has associations with our Tasmanian friends. Harder to find and 500ml bottle doesn't go far. Uses pepper berries instead of juniper.
In addition to Brad's medicine, Martin Millers (700ml) is a top if pricey drop. If you can find in your travels worth trying.

Thanks expanda fan. The list is getting longer. Similar experiences in Thailand. The G&T is definitely safer than the water. Well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
