- extra 12v and 240v power points
- 100Amp AGM deep-cycle battery
- 120 watt solar panel
- wineguard antenna
- external TV point
- dinette lounge with tri-fold table, providing heaps of extra space

- 600 watt inverter wired in and mounted above microwave
- drop-down picnic table

Plus After-market
- underlay and wool carpet fitted (in sections, so easy to take in and out; no scratchy sand feel in summer; warm and cosy in winter. Kids spend a lot of time playing on the floor since we put this in!)
- clear weatherproof pop-top window covers (courtesy of @crustt http://www.expandasdownunder.com/threads/replaced-flywire.3082/#post-46515) that allow full day light with no concern for wind and/or rain
- all LED lighting throughout
- Anderson Plug to charge the battery and keep fridge running on 12vDC while driving

And other extras like:

- metres of matching curtain material purchased from the Jayco factory to make privacy curtains for each bunk (we just didn't ever get around to that because the kids haven't yet grown to the stage where they want/need them)
- 12 volt fan that can be moved to any plug
- Lots of seriously positive energy and happy-family-fun-time-vibes embedded into his bones!

Excellent, well maintained condition; effectively as new.
Pet-free, smoke-free family and household.
Has been kept on-site at home under cover.
Registered in Victoria, currently in Tasmania.
Available now.

Selling only because we're going to a triple bunk van for our big, big adventure next year, so that each little camper has their own permanent retreat while we're on the road for so long.

Eric has been a sensational van and he's provided us with a base for lots of really happy times and special memories. Of course you can change his name if you decide to adopt him (you can change him to a her, if you want :cheer2:)
and we hope that regardless of what gender and name you decide on, he'll provide you and your family with just as much fun and adventure.

Happy to provide any extra info that may be required... just let us know what you'd like to know!
:)

Thanks Dobbie and Delano
Taking the kids out of school (eldest is in grade 3 this year, one in kindie, one 3yo) and gonna wander. Work is all over NSW and Vic mainly, some west and some in Qld, so instead of flying home to Tassie, we'll either drive to where it is or I'll fly to wherever work happens to be and then back to the van.
So no set plan as such, but keen to see more of this magnificent country and figure what a great time to do it with the kids while they're easily portable.
Have met more and more people doing it lately with the family and loving it. Figure how lucky are we that we can do that with work?!:)
Timeframe wise, we're thinking we'll roll with that too and see what happens. So we're thinking a year, and if we're still having fun, we'll just keep on rocking...
:drum:

Congrats on the sale.. Did you finalise the new van yet?
Hi Dave
Well neeeearrrly... Quote from Zone RV came in at approx 80% more than Crusader, which is a good chunk more than a Jayco, as you know, so after much too-ing and fro-ing, have just about nailed things with Michael at Crusader, who's been great.
They're confident for the build we want being done by late Nov.. School here in Tassie finishes up for the kids on Dec 8th, so we're thinking straight to 'the boat' (Spirit of Tas) and we'll pick him (or her?) up and spend a few weeks adventuring.
Keep you posted!

Bye bye Eric.

Well done. What's the next one ...whatever the decision is....to be called?
Hey Dobbie
As per reply to DaveMc, it's looking 98% like a Crusader. Most of our 'hardware family' are given names that start with the same initial as their model.. Olly Outback replaced Accy Accord and Polly the Pajero is our current tow vehicle, so this new baby, being a custom build Family GetAbout will be called F....??!?
All suggestions welcome, but please remember it's a Family show!;)

Good to hear your almost there ;) we are happy with the 22 only thing I wish it had the club lounge;) or maybe held out for a outback ;)
Happier with the washing machine in the bathroom not taking up 40% of your wardrobe.
As we where ending up just going stock standard van the Starcraft ended up a lot cheaper. The Jayco has more bench space as smaller dinette..
Although kids take over dinette I am sitting outside under the large 19 foot awning;)
Remember we like pictures ;)

Hi Dave
So glad you're enjoying your new van.
I do like the sound of that large 19' awning.. Lots of space there :couch2:
:washing:Looking forward to having the washing machine, so great to hear you're loving that. Michael's agreed to move the door a foot closer to the front, which means the dining area can be that much bigger, else we're likely to be as overrun as you guys.
Will definitely send piccies.. Lots of piccies when the big job finally manifests itself!
