Front Bed Restraints

I have noted that my front bed doesn't have any restraint like the rear bed does. The dealer said that it isn't required however I note that the only thing restraining the front bed closed is the hinge to the front lid.

I am thinking about shock cord and hooks/ buttons and am after ideas as to how other people have secured theirs.

they don't have one, and have never even worried about it

plus if it comes undone you can see it behind you where as the rear one you would never know anything is wrong

Ours didn't come with one either. I fitted one due to it dropping one time and nearly connecting with the skull . Van was sitting on a downward angle though.

dagree, is there any chance that you could post a photo of your bracket.
my front bed rests against the hard top hinge which is no good and will eventually wear through.

It's the same as the rear one originally fitted.
