Only just got an Expanda 17.56-2 a few months ago.
The first thing that became bothersome was the inability of the hatches over the tunnel boot to stay open when digging stuff out from under the bed.
I presume this is a common problem?
Anyway, it was something that had to be improved. Spring clamps worked, but not convenient.
So down the local hardware to find something.
Best I could find was magnetic catches, but they are setup to operate from the side, not the top.
A bit of pondering and I started carving up some plastic on my milling machine to present the magnet in the correct orientation, and also take into account the slope of the wall.
They work a treat, and are just there, ready for action.
