I really wish they would stop the whole concrete slab thing, I mean EDITED BY ADMIN!!!! If I want to camp on I concrete slab I could do it in my driveway or in the local west-field shopping center car park....

First time I saw this I actually though, what a great idea, they have made a concrete slab for the caravan to park on so that you don't spent an hour with chocks trying to get it level.... Little do I know, the nice grassy soft patch next to the slab was in fact for the van and the slab is intended for me and the kids to sit on and enjoy the outdoors - - EDITED BY ADMIN!!!!!

Worst thing about the slabs in parks is 9 out of 10 times they are concave so if it rains you end up with an on suite private pool - I dont know perhaps thats a selling point?

I hear your pain zero.
To add to this rant, I have been to a site with my old expanda where you had to back up on an incline to get onto the site. But with Jaycos low hanging tyre carrier I could not back up across the slab without getting caught up.

I prefer them (in a caravan park).
The natural, dead grass, muddy, potholed, dug-up, sloping sites don't do it for me
Sorry. :)

(at least as long as they aren't smaller than the width of the annex)
