Free camping - any advice welcome

Hi all, we have been looking into the possibility of doing a bit of free camping and wondered where everyone gets there info/sites from.

Any advice would be welcome. We are in South Eastern suburbs Melbourne.

Camps7 book from RACV is good. Check App store also. Pace.

Have a look at wikicamps app if you have an iPhone/ipad. I bought a the camps 7 book but now only use this app as it has both free and paid sites, and seems to be more up to date

Thanks @benrosenick we have one of the Camps books but it's always nice to get an actual persons comments on sites free or paid.

When you are free camping get out and have a chat with others who are doing it. I found that a great resource when I first did it a couple of years ago. You can get so many good and different ideas from those already doing it.
