Hi all, thought I'd share our new floor matting I put down recently.
I measured all lengths around floor area and drew it up on scaled graph paper, bought the matting, cut it up and fitted it to van floor, all as one piece. :)

The real reason for sharing this is that after measuring down all sides and around corners and drawing up on the scaled paper, I couldn't quite believe that the start point and end point on the drawing meet up exactly!

What this means to me is that the edges of all the furniture etc are square, parallel and correct lengths.
This made it a lot easier to cut up out of van then fit.

Dare I say it, good job Jayco!!!!!

Some pics as I know it didn't happen otherwise!

So where was this van built ?????................. sounds like a Furphy...

Seriously though, that looks great....keep us updated on how it goes staying clean as I wouldn't mind doing it myself but the door mat drives me nuts trying to get grass out of it so was worried about the whole van.

Well, the queue was written to Jayco lol.

That was a discussion we had about keeping it clean, we don't wear shoes inside but it will get 'dirty' I'm sure. Stay tuned!
The main reason for putting it down was to help insulate the cold floor and this has certainly helped. :thumb:
