well after much anticipation we had our first trip in the new van. it was everything i could of hoped for ...almost. set up time went from 2 hours in the Swan to 10 mins with the Panda, cant complain about that but someone didnt order the fine weather.70mm of rain in 12 hours- oh well at least i know the van doesnt leak! anyone looking for a nice spot to camp on the east coast with no power should drop in to Gumma Flat, 5mins east of macksville on the river. camping fees are $10 a night if they can be bothered to collect them. i will post some photos from last time i camped there in the old van - no photos of this trip too wet.

Nice one Jim. Probably pack up time would have reduced also especially where you no longer need to be concerned with wet canvas.

Looks nice Jim, thanks for sharing. Better luck next time with the weather, our worst was 70mm in 45 min and that was in a camper trailer.....needless to say our annexe was a river!

Cheers.
