We got a great deal on our new van as it was the demo model manufactured in Oct 2013, they had the new 2014 model on it's way so were keen to offload it. We take it out most weekends:) our biggest trip so far was the 'darling river run' from Wentworth to Bourke, 700 odd km of dirt!
Mods done so far include:
Replaced innerspring mattress with foam
Toolbox on front which houses 1 large gas bottle and 1 medium
Toolbox on back
2 tables to side of van
Outdoor shower fitted to other side of van
Spare tyre housing underneath van
LED strip light along outside of van
Croc bin
Shelves in robe
....with lots image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

more to come

Hi Michelle, How are you I have just noticed you are new to the forum and just live up the road from us, its good to have another expanda owner not far from home. We are in the Arapiles area. it sounds like you have been having some great getaways in your van. ours is a 16-49.4., We have had ours 2 years now, how long have you had your van.? We don't get away much as hubby works for himself and we farm as well, always something to do. Talk soon. Rhonda.

Hi Rhonda, we only got our van in March, we're lucky up this way, we have some great places to camp on our doorstep:) it is unfortunate that work gets in the way of holidaying.... Are you heading to Camerons Corner for the Expanda meet?

Hi and welcome @michelle menzel from another 17.76.2 owner :encouragement: and a good selection of mods already!
Our 2014 model was one of the first to get delivered to WA as floor stock but it didn't make it to the showroom ;)

Hi there, no unfortunately we wont be going, its too far for us, too much happening, its hard to get away very often, but we try to do a camp each holiday, and the most we do is 3 weeks in port fairy in Jan after harvest, that is our real break away from everything.
Are you going to head up there? it sounds good

We're going to try and get there, we always go to Cape Jaffa for a couple of weeks after xmas, never been to Port Fairy but we go to Portland quite often as my brother lives there.

Love the piccys!! I've been buying things, kitchen stuff etc while waiting on our caravan, it's taking ages. I didn't realise how much u actually need, but I love shopping:)

Thats the fun part, it's exciting filling your new van up when you get it, can't wait to see some pics!

Hubby welded a steel bracket, the tyre sits on top of it, same as how its on the front just underneath, he said theres plenty of room under there, i can get him to take a pic later. Put the croc bin on the next to the awning pole on the chequerplate opposite end to door, i'll take a pic, it is really handy as before this we had bags tied to the awning
