SOLD SOLD

We are selling our 16-49.4 Expanda. Main reason is we are upgrading to a larger Expanda due to growing teenagers (deposit all ready paid and picking up in a few weeks). We did have this on the market last year but at that time decided to keep it hence the old age of the ad.

It is located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. It's condition is spotless, it has been on a few short trips and one 2 week trip to Southern NSW. It has never been off road, only highway miles

It is the standard model 16-49.4. It's factory extras include;
- Extended drawbar. Extra length great for adding a tool box etc.
- Twin gas bottles. Never run out of gas with that extra bottle.
- Side table. Once you have had one you would never do without it. Handy at breaky time.
- Factory bed converter for main table. Just incase you need that extra bed.
- Roll out awning. Convenience of extra protection from the elements in a few seconds.
- Herron in wall air conditioner. Heating and cooling. A must have with any caravan.
- Drop down jacks. The quickest way the level your van. A sought after addition to any van.
- Large 150L 3 way fridge. Much larger than the standard fridge, great for a large family.
- Extra power points under tables. Great for those ipod chargers, keeps leads out of the way.

This is the model with 2 bunk beds that convert to a smaller table and overhead storage.

It also comes with standard features such as microwave and gas cooktop with grill.

Improvements include;
- Front and side (1) Tebbs sun shades. Improves privacy and protection from sun.
- Anti flap kit. Makes a massive difference in stopping awning noises when sleeping.
- Rubber mat for under awning area. Keeps camp area clean and tidy.
- Kogan tv/dvd on swivel wall mount. Also runs on 12 V and has built in DVD player.
- External shower assembly (cold water). Great for cleaning up kids after the beach.
- 3 external gas bayonet points, front & rear. Great for a Weber.
- Starter kit, includes sullage hose, power lead and water hose & fittings.
- Tebbs annexe with front verandah.
- Underslung axle, providing much better ground clearance.
- Led strip lighting for outside.
- Usb & 12 volt points.
- Front and rear pole/fishing rod carriers.
- Caravan cover included.

Price neg' if buyer doesn't want annexe as I can make it fit our new van.

Geoff Mob 0438 383 764.

Asking price $34,900.00

thanks for that, do you have an idea how much it weighs with all the improvements? We would tow it with a kluger, limited to max 2000kg. Cheers. Ay more pics? Thanks.

Hi Tracey,

I have added more pics. When we ordered the van we had a 2008 AWD Kluger. Between ordering and pick up, we changed over cars to a Mazda BT50. We just bought the vehicle changeover forward a bit as we got a great price on the Kluger and it was starting to also need work. The reason we chose the 16-49-4 was because of the Kluger and I was prepared to tow with it, however it was getting a few mechanical gremlins, so instead of spending money on it we upgraded (maybe upgrade not right word as the Kluger was nice to drive). Do your research and others might post their opinions.

FYI Tare is 1533kg, GTM is 1672kg, ATM is 1833kg.

Cheers Geoff

Price is $36000. We will put it on one of the caravan sales sites soon. Which do you think are the best sites to sell a van?

Cheers Geoff

Hi Ian, At this stage we have only just decided to keep it. As we have 3 kids the layout really suited us and we could not find anything which in our opinions suited us for the extra $$$ we would have spent to upsize. We would not have been getting what we would have been 100% happy with. The closest would have been a 18-57-9. Thanks for looking and enjoy the forum. If things change I will send you a message.

Cheers Geoff
