Just a quick pic of our 16.49 after a day of washing & polishing. This is our fist Expanda &

a massive upgrade from our 1980 Viscount royal!! Looking forward to Queens birthday weekend to give it a run.

Thanks for the welcome & the likes. Yeah the Vito tows it no probs . We haven't taken it on a trip yet, but it feels heaps better to tow than the old Viscount royal. I could comfortably sit on 95/100kph with it although its lighter than the Expanda . The Expand should provide less wind drag !! It will all show up on the fuel gauge I guess:minion_happy:

Great looking van @EVOH We had a 16.49.3 before upgrading. It was a great van and only sold it to upgrade to a hard lid model.
They are definitely easy to tow..... Sometimes I even forgot it was behind us until I looked in the mirror 8-)

Can you buy replacement arms for carfree awnings? The arm with the black locking knob to be precise. Vito towed it no dramas as DAGREE said, a couple of times I forgot it was even there. 14ltrs per 100/ks pretty happy with that.

G'day EVOH,
That bike rack looks good. Does it cuse any problems with your turning circle/reversing? Where is it from? I'm looking to find a solution for our set up.
Cheers.

Hi Matt. Yeah the rack is good. No problems at all really other than if you need to carry more than 2 bikes. I still have the spare & gas bottle in its original spot . I got it of Ebay a company in Melbourne has them, its designed to mount in you tow hitch & when you not using it you can fold it all up.;)

Cheers

Had some spare time today, so fitted new awning arms . Amazing what a difference that made , didn't realise how knackered the old ones where until i replaced them.
