It is that time of year again! Who is heading away for the long weekend and where are you off to?

The Cracka Clan are off the Fingal Bay at Pt Stephens for the weekend. If you see us say hi.

No matter where you are travelling t, please take it easy on the roads and break every 2 hours, better to arrive late than not at all.

We’re escaping to Lake Wallace for a spot of free camping with the in-laws.
Should be good, get to test out the new bike rack on the trip and hopefully find one of those elusive trout that I’m told are in the dam (yet to catch one myself!)

Canberra to visit Grandkids and tribe, play in the snow as I'm sure its cold enough to snow here...

What comp?

Admittedly, I love hanging around boat ramps on long weekends and Christmas Holidays. Never ending source of entertainment. All these people who pull their boats out once or twice a year and attempt to launch with the crowds... can be laughs galore!!

Did a couple of days at Bridgewater in 2011 cleaning up after the floods. It was a great experience.

No disrespect intended, but do yourself a favour, dont come to Cobram,
Try COBDEN instead, save some fuel and heartache by going to right place first time around.;)

Ooops, just having a seniors moment. It will only get worse since I turned 65 last week.

Fingal Bay's a favourite for us, in fact the whole Nelson Bay area. We are repeat offenders there most years. In Jan we spent a day looking around with our tourists hats off for potential retirement options.
