Yes the forum was rather quiet over the Easter break. I can only hope that means everyone was away enjoying themselves.

Just be thankful we didn't go or everyone would have had rain! Best weather but the wife had to work. Looking forward to going away again, but have to wait until the June long weekend! Glad we love camping in winter! More reason to have a good fire!

Wimmera in Victoria
We had a great time on the Wimmera River with 6 other families camping, not many fish caught but a great relaxing time.

This was a panoramic view to get all the camps in, way down on the left was where 4 girls had their swags, tent and tent cots, they don't want to be near mum & dad know.
This would now be about the 6th or 7th year we have all done this camp at easter.

Our Easter was spent at Mortlake in Victoria. Not a lot there, but we enjoyed fishing, sitting by the fire, chatting and drinking in the evenings. In fact I could only count two other campers there for the weekend apart from the permanents.
One thing that we tried for the first time and will do again was a shot of Baileys inside an easter egg around the campfire as a night cap. Anyone else have this tradition? Bite the top off the egg, pour in Baileys, drink baileys, eat egg. Yummo!
Back at work now planning the next trip.
