Good Evening All

Wondering if anyone has a rear bar fitted to their 4WD with a wheel carrier / jerry can holders and was wondering if they are able to open the arms on the carrier with the Expanda still hitched?

Existing Prado 150 with OB Expanda so the door opens fine at the moment but had a bad thought that once I get the rear bar (Kaymar or similar) it might restrict what can be opened and I don't feel like un-hitching the van everytime I want to open the rear door :)

I am sure in their wisdom they account for this when designing them but some real life examples are always useful....cheers

I would have thought if you can open the Prado door then the swing away arms on a Kaymar will be OK as they are half the width of the Prado door.

I have them on my Landcruiser and yes I can upen the tyres with the van attached. I cannot open them when the van is attached and the front bed is out though.

I have a 100 series with twin spare wheels on a Kaymar rear bar.

I can open both tyres with the expanda attached.

I have a 21.64-1 with an extended draw bar.
