Try putting longer screw in th catch so it does not come loose and allow the lock to jump over

See you outback

On ours (16.49.1-2011) the front of the draw is adjustable for height. Undo the locking screw and then use the other to move the draw front up and down. Adjust so that it just comes out when you open it, and clears when you close it. Then do up the locking screw. Do both sides to level the front.

We spaced the catches out with small washers. Seems to have worked but I think I only had to do it to 3 or 4 drawers.

Draw opening on the move

Our pot draw used to open up while driving and we had Jayco replace the catch and lock under warranty. It was fine from then on but on our last trip the plastic bracket that holds the back of the draw runners up snapped and the whole draw fell out. Yet to fix it but when I do it will be with something stronger.

Hi guys

Thanks for all your advice. I will have a look and see which ones will work best

Taje00 - that also happened to our cutlery draw. Brisbane camper land have a new type which r longer and a heavier plastic. I will buy the new ones also for the pot drawer, they seem to hold it a lot more sturdier with less up and down movement. I think the set was only $10

Pot Drawer Mods

Hi all,

We have broken a number of them on both the drawers. So my solution was to get rid of the plastic and use 3mm thick 50mm aliminium angle. Photes attached. Also noted that the cross beam that they were scewed to only had one screw and therefore could rotate. This would mena that the plastic would have preasure downwards. I added the extra screw to the 90 degrees jiont so that it would not rotate.

Be aware that there is power cables behind the cross beam on the small draw (14.69.1).

Hope this helps
Stephen

I have this exact problem! I'll be fixing this up as soon as the shops open, asked a cabinet maker and he had no idea how to fix it lol. Thanks so much!
