Dog Friendly Toowoon Bay Holiday Park

We're doing our first trip after buying Willy's expanda and decided that Toowoon Bay suited the family.

The park is right on the beach, next to the golf course with shops about 10min drive. Perfect.

The park has a pool, jumping pillow for the kids and is dog friendly. We dont have a dog yet, but have seen about 10 dogs in the park, no problems that I can see.

The bowling club buffet got good reviews. Cant say I agree, very ordinary. Not a major issue but wouldnt go again.

The park is pretty big with a fair amount of permanent vans, but some great sites overlooking the beach. We decided on the ensuite as much easier with 2 boys.

Nice are around there. We stayed there a couple of times, that and the Blue Lagoon holiday park at the other end of Shelley Beach. We were camped in one of those ensuite sites on the cliff one balmy evening when a violent storm blew through. One minute it was humid and dead calm, the next second had awnings bearing ripped off, tent flattened and people running around everywhere ...... lost my thongs, blew away never to be seen again. Didn't happen to find them did you, they were my favourites.

Hi Crusty, found lots of thongs and tried to get them back for you. But for some reason the girls wearing them didnt appreciate it. Was yours the hot pink or yellow number
