My diesel heater came to the rescue last night, the power in the showground for my block dropped off around 1930 and with 4 deg forecast some heating was required, unlike my poor neighbours I fired up the diesel heater and we had a very comfy night especially as someone remembered to fill the tank the day before...we got power back about 0630.....
At $35 a night we ran the Ibis MkIII for heating most nights and it did a good quiet job, the oil burner will chew about 3 lts over a run of about 13 hrs or so.

Going by the Webasto stuff Ive read they reckon a rue of thumb of 100ml per hr per Kw per hour which about matches the book for mine, its 3Kw and it runs full noise or at least 3/4 throttle...............................

My simple maths worked it at 100ml/hr/kw so since mines 3Kw I thought it would burn 300ml/hour which for 10 hrs would be 3lts, so 13hrs at 3/4 throttle burning 3 lts sounds right............mind the 3lts is only a guess, didn't get anal and measure it just going by some marks I put on the tank.......so might have been 2.75lts.....
