Not normally one to post positive experiences - usually just problems but we had a couple of great experiences at Darwin.
Caravan spares
Found a great caravan supplies place. Real old fashioned store that actually holds vast stock rather than saying "we can have that here in 3 days". We needed some 12v fans for the kids beds and looked everywhere. They have 5 different types and had the current draw noted. Also needed one pin for the caravan leg which was bent by not engaging them properly (my delegation skills to the kids are fading fast). I though... where the hell am I going to get one of those without buying the whole leg. They had a selection.

Fish and Chips
Went to Frying Nemo and it was the best fish and chips I have tasted in a long time. I also got a good couple of bites of my daughters burger by convincing her she was overeating (yes I have a foxes cunning) and it was also excellent if you like bbq onion relish. Admittedly we have come up the centre so excellent food has been pretty sparse.
