So the wait is finally over! We now have a new Panda in our family. While the Patrol had the brake controller fitted we had Ron show us round the new van at Page Bros in Seaford. No buyer's remorse at all. The colors we ordered and accessories are all there. I even washed the car for the occasion!

Then the adventure of my first towing experience with the new combo.... All arrived safe and sound with the new pride and joy reversed into place with out incident or even domestic!

In all the excitement only a couple of pics, more to come! Loving the 2014 upgrades. There were a couple of cool surprises like the blue nightlight LEDs, the jayco boys must be reading these threads because the battery switches are up under the microwave and a couple of other regular mods are now standard.

Yes we are now tucked in set up in the front yard! Try stopping the kids sleeping in the bunks.

Congrats @Dandy ... Know how you feel as we just picked up our 17.56.2 just over a month ago.
Looking forward to seeing more pics as the mods get done.... Always something to add or change after each trip 8-)

Welcome Andy, Danielle & girls.

Great choice in family van and yep - I like the way many of the mods that forum members have been making are beginning to find their way onto the factory floor!

Or it it a group of Mod Ninjas visiting the production line each night?

Looking forward to hearing about the family adventures….

We had already picked up hoses, cables, cover, weber Q trolley, hose for gas bayonet and a variety of new kitchen type stuff because for some reason I can't quite recall, the camper trailer gear won't be good enough.

Looks great. We are only days away from picking up our 16.49.4 OB and are all very excited. Enjoy.

This is our first caravan after graduating from the camper trailer. The kids were almost as excited as I was.

looks great so whens the first getaway ?

We are going to Phillip Island on Thursday for the Easter long weekend. We thought a close and relatively familiar place would be a good starting point. We just want to spend some time fiddling with everything to see what fits where and to set up the annexe.

Then we can then build up to some high country adventures and a some longer trips.

The 2014 has some really cool stuff but there are a few forum inspired mods still on the cards.

@Dandy very cool kids seem very happy indeed. We maybe spending our first night in the van when it comes. It's a Tuesday school night so see how we go.. Well maybe just the biggest kids by himself :)

I spent several weekends sorting out the gate etc. then waited months for the big day (not counting the browsing and research) so there was no way would miss out on the first night. I still had to be at work in the morning. A little bit of inconvenience in exchange for a bit of fun, a shared experience and a memory.... Well worth it. The kids will have as story for show and share.
