Cleaning road grime - suggestions?

just given the van its first wax and one of things I love to hate about keeping the rig looking good. Came up a treat however there were a heap of stubourn tar spots that wouldn't budge. So anyone got any nifty suggestions to easily remove tar spots.

Lighting Kero always removes tar really well from cars never tried it on the van but should be ok.

Most things like kero or petrol or the like will break down the tar. Just dab a bit on a rag and gently rub the tar. Always give it a good polish over and good to go.
