Saw this in today's Herald Sun. They wouldn't answer their phone and a gmail account so I'm thinking it might almost be a scam :). I bet he works on a oil rig too!!! Sorry about the pic quality.

Thought it was my van for a second. I remember that when it hit the market, they don't come up a lot (18.57-5) with slide outs.

As soon as you see a gmail address don't even bother.

Here is a link to a similar situation I had earlier this year when looking for a van. http://www.expandasdownunder.com/threads/whats-your-thought-scam.4614/ Some of the email replies are copied and pasted in the thread but I had fun sending and receiving a few more just to lead him/her on until my final email notifying him that I have also been sending them to ScamWatch ;) No more replies after that!

That ad was in last Sunday's paper. Someone at work rang the number out of interest.....no one answered.

I wouldn't say that... When my in-laws sell the motor homes that they make, they only ever list a gmail account. They don't want anyone to use or know their genuine email. This is to protect themselves from scam emails etc. You generally can't put anything online now without an email address so why would you use your everyday one?

Once they have discussed minimal details via email they will then only deal over the phone. Again to avoid the oil rig workers.
