Well they have really annoyed me this time . Not only do they ring you to constantly badger about renewing your subscription and buy something else like first aid kit or car awning etc.
About 4 weeks I renewed and bought my wife an expensive present for christmas along with the subscription told definately have it out intime for xmas they took $350 out of my account and now stopped my account not only did I not get decembers issue but I have also not got the product for my wife .AND NO EXPLANATION GIVEN .
so much promises and lying on their behalf and told its a problem with Toll which is a lie and its been dispatched then it hasnot.
The bastards took my money quickly enough and if I hadnt rung up to see where it was they said no one would have rang me . Great customer service. I am asking all of you out there to be very careful with these people and we havesince cancelled our subscription and Iinsisting on a full refund

Not good @mfexpanda.

Jump on to their facebook page and blast them. There a quite a few other who have complained on there about some of their so called offers that always seem to have finished within seconds of them being offered.

Don't go so easy on Toll as they are quite capable of delays. Our son had some items of freight coming up here from Brisbane and they don't/didn't have a direct Brisbane to Darwin service so they trucked it to Sydney then to Adelaide and put it on the freight train to here. As I told their people here I could have driven to Brisbane and picked it up myself and beaten their service back here.

Guys it's not a toll thing .
I got promised that the items plus 20 weeks of 4wdaction was all in stock . 1 month later still nothing rang
All sorts of excuses .
I agreed that if the goods , a Xmas present for Mrs mfexpanda , would be delivered before Xmas I'd do the deal.
I've been a subscriber for over 5 years and all has been good but what has happened and is still going on is enough .
2 mags ,caravan/motor home plus 4wdaction is now finished I don't want to deal with them again.
They still owe me a fair few copies of caravan/motor home plus 3 of 4wdaction that was the last subscription it's stopped no mags .
The care factor was zero from them and no extra effort to solve the problem even though they admit it was all them that totally stuffed it .
Money was taken from my visa and now it looks like they will play the stretch it out game to repay me .
Be very carefull if you deal with them and I have not yet finished with them either .
Believe me I am one vindictive prick and I will not stop till I get justice .

I didn't realize it was the whole shebang, not good at all. I know I've had a couple of issues that never turned up but after a terse email it was in the mail box quick smart but don't think I'll renew the subscription as I prefer the paper shop job as I'm not always around my mail box.
Bad customer service is not on, direct them to this thread they may start taking an interest as it will be obvious the repercusions of their inaction can be enormous.

then I got a letter to say -
"there's a problem with the hi lift jack - could be unsafe - please send back, and we will refund you the freight money"

not until you send a) the missing mags, you HAVEN'T sent& b) send me the postage paid sticker for the Jack.........

(tis now 6 months since I took new subscription...... BTW)

even better, send me the Postage paid sticker for the Jack (before I use it and make a claim, as its defective)
and MY MONEY for a) 3 months subscription you DIDN'T supply & b) for the new 2 year subscription you were not going to supply.......

got several letters, even one from some Corporate Lawyers saying I cannot use said Jack, and must return immediately.....
not once did ANY of the letters say - sorry, we stuffed your subscription, and we owe you the Mag's

3 months later, postage paid sticker arrived

2 months after that I got a cheque, waited until it cleared, THEN sent back their Jack
and have never brought the Mag since...........


I have never bothered with Caravan one, as they are run by the same tossers............
read it online when I'm bored......

Once you get through , long wait , it's yes yes yes then hold while I talk to the accounts manager then more waiting and try to bullshit you into more waiting .
No good will in trying to solve their stuff up plus no commitment when things will be delivered .
They twice admitted that if I diddnt ring even after 12 months I could have been waiting orm more .
No one checks the subscriptions have gone through and all is good !
One slack organisation .


On the bright side been to BCF and the Xmas gift for Mrs mfexpanda is done band hidden in the shed .

@ACTraveller nice idea on the door holder was sitting back looking at the thing yesterday thinking I'll have to make up a plastic bar to extend it out so can open window further. Now all I have to do is find a newsagents.

I'll be doing that on Monday
